The Grammarians Lunch 2019

October 28 @ 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm

£22

Dear OGs and Friends,

Download the OG lunch invitation

Following the Lunch on 29th. April we have decided to return to the Glynhill Hotel for the October Lunch and beyond.

The cost will remain the same as before at £22 for a two-course meal, with two options for each course, and tea/coffee to follow. There will not be a ‘welcoming drink’ but the Bar will be available throughout – except during speeches!

David Lloyd Leisure has been very loyal to us for several years, but service and meals have not been satisfactory recently and we have decided to make the change now.

Our Guest Speaker at the October Lunch will be Caron Macpherson (nee Workman), an Old Grammarian, who is currently a Senior Manager of Waterstones (Glasgow and District). Caron regularly hosts Book signings and talks by famous authors, and I am sure she will prove a lively and entertaining speaker. I also hope to have a musical item or two for our further enjoyment.

Please put Monday, 28th. October in your diary. With your support we can fill the Barony 1 Suite at the Glynhill on a regular basis, and sustain the momentum of the last two Lunches. I shall contact you again early in September to ‘firm up’ numbers as we prepare for the October Lunch and I leave you meantime with a request.

The Old Grammarians’ Club has a large emailing list, but recent regulations mean that we must request permission to contact you. In order to receive our Summer and Winter Newsletters, and occasional information, it is necessary to register. This can be done very simply by clicking this link http://eepurl.com/JQi_z and submitting the permit slip.

Have a good summer, and I shall be in touch again in September.
